My Planning + Organization Journey
Hello + welcome! My name is Mady and I am the girl behind @madyplans.
Since I was in grade school, planning and organization have always been a huge part of my life. When other kids were saving money to buy candy and toys, I was asking to stop in Office Depot for sticky notes and page flags. Since then, my love for planning has grown into what is now MadyPlans.
I created my YouTube Channel in 2015 to share my planning passion with other enthusiasts. Shortly after, I created my Instagram account and my love for organizing grew exponentially after stumbling upon the #PlannerCommunity. Not knowing this online community existed, I was ecstatic to see so many other planner obsessed creators sharing photos of their agendas, too. Since then, the planning community has grown so much, and you can now find planner creators for just about ANY style of planning.
Through my socials, I share planning and organization tips, stylish new home office essentials, and some of my other interests like beauty, home decor, and more.
If you’re here, you must love organizing, too. Or maybe you need some help in that department. Either way, I hope you gain some tips, find some inspiration, or develop a new understanding of what it means to be truly organized.
Professional Passions
My passions don’t stop at planning. In fact, that is just the tip of the iceberg. Planning is the vehicle I use to build a life full of happiness and success. The real joy arrives when I see my plans finally become reality.
Branding + Marketing are my professional passions in life and I am grateful to express those daily as a Digital Marketing Professional. The power of brand identity and the relationship cultivated between a brand and their audience is invaluable.
I got my start freelancing during my years at university. During this time, I was able to expand on my skills in video storytelling, product photography, and brand messaging. I learned countless new skills like SEO, email marketing strategy, social media strategy, executing successful campaigns and so much more.
As a student of life, I am always up for learning new skills and techniques. Watching a small business grow from a tiny niche boutique to one of the top in their market is rewarding, exciting, and proves that you really can make your dreams come true with the right team in place.
